The goal of Post Time Partners is to offer individuals the excitement of racing and the pride of horse ownership for a minimal investment. We pride ourselves with excellent communication with our partners. First and foremost, however, is the proper care and training of the equine athlete to allow each horse to reach its ultimate potential. A training regimen and racing schedule is developed for each horse.
Post Time Partners specializes in the development of young horses, particularly two year olds. We focus on purchasing standard bred yearlings with quality pedigrees and confirmation at affordable, value-based prices.
Founded in 2009 by Bonnie Benson, Post Time Partners purchased 6 yearlings, 5 of which were starters in 2010, including the standout filly pacer, In Deep Thought, who earned just shy of $165,000.00 in her 2 year old season. Bonnie is an experienced horse owner that has campaigned such multiple stakes winners as Half Price, Magical Chef, and Cut Throat, and had stabled $100,000+ winners such as Yankee Fortysix, Protocol Hanover and Sweet Lips. As managing partner, Bonnie acts as a liaison between the owners and our trainer and provides weekly updates to all partners.
Our trainer, Bobby Reeser, invests his monies as well in the partnership and owns an equity stake of 10% or more in all horses. Such personal involvement speaks volumes about our trainer’s commitment and belief in Post Time Partners. Bobby not only works for us, he is also one of our partners!
Partners pay for their percentage of all training and care expenses and are provided with monthly statements. All partnerships are separate limited liability companies and all funds are segregated for each partnership.
